we reported the complete chloroplast genome of white towel gourd and compared it with the published chloroplast genomes of Cucurbitaceae species. Moreover, its genome features, codon bias usage, simple sequence repeats (SSRs), IR boundary, evolution and phylogenetic were analyzed. Our results provides valuable information for further studies on species identification, molecular marker, evolution and phylogenetic relationships of white towel gourd.
