The project involves a total of five samples, all of which are activated sludge. Sample 1 is the raw sludge collected from a wastewater treatment plant in Changchun City, Jilin Province. Samples 2 to 5 were obtained from a self-designed reactor system. Specifically, Samples 2 and 3 were taken from the anoxic and aerobic zones of the control reactor, respectively, while Samples 4 and 5 were collected from the anoxic and aerobic zones of the electrochemically enhanced reactor.
