资源简介:
This metadata entry refers to oceanic measurements of CO2 and total inorganic carbon (TCO2) by Ute Schuster; tetrachloromethane (carbon tetrachloride) by Rana Fine; and atmospheric aerosol composition (calcium (Ca), chloride (Cl), potassium (K), magnesium (Mg), sodium (Na), ammonium (NH4), nitrate (NO3), sulfate (SO4) and phosphorus (P)) by Tim Jickells during the Discovery 279 research cruise in the North Atlantic as part of the Rapid Climate Change (RAPID) programme. The cruise began on 4th April 2004 and ended on 10th May 2004 with a spatial coverage of +28N to +24N latitude and -13E to -80E longitude. The data consists of: -2608 measurements of concentration of tetrachloromethane (carbon tetrachloride) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by purging cryogenic trapping and gas chromatography -1104 measurements of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) in the water column by equilibration with air and infra-red gas analysis -1359 measurements of the concentration of carbon (total inorganic) (TCO2) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by coulometry -Approximately 30 measurements of aerosol/dust composition per unit volume of the atmosphere (particulate phase) using filtration and ion chromatography. See below for further details.
