A Comprehensive GNSS Dataset from the 41th Laura Bassi Expedition to Antarctica
收藏资源简介:
This high-precision dataset offers 216 days of raw GNSS receiver measurements acquired continuously aboard the Italian research icebreaker R/V Laura Bassi (operated by OGS) during a round-trip Antarctic expedition spanning September 26, 2025, to April 29, 2026. The voyage traced a closed loop from Trieste to the Ross Sea sector of Antarctica and back—transiting the Panama Canal westbound on the outbound leg and Cape Horn (Drake Passage region) eastbound on the return—spanning approximately 120° of geographic latitude and including eight crossings of the Antarctic Circle. The data is provided in daily-segmented UBX binary files alongside complementary Hatanaka-compressed RINEX 3.04 observation and navigation (OBS+NAV) files, capturing multi-band, multi-constellation L1 and L5 receiver block observations. Specific message types in the raw stream include UBX-NAV-PVT for position, velocity, and time fixes, UBX-NAV-HPPOSLLH for high-precision coordinates, UBX-NAV-SAT for satellite metadata, UBX-RXM-RAWX for multi-band raw observables like pseudorange and carrier phase, UBX-RXM-MEASX for code-pseudorange smoothing diagnostics, UBX-RXM-SFRBX for broadcast navigation subframes, UBX-MON-RF for RF front-end diagnostics and jamming indicators, UBX-MON-SPAN for 256-bin on-board signal spectrum results, and UBX-MON-SYS for receiver hardware telemetry. The file organization by UTC date facilitates efficient batch parsing while maintaining individual binary file sizes under approximately 900 MB.
