THE ROLE OF TECHNOLOGY IN CREATING AN INTERACTIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

The rapid development of digital technologies has significantly transformed modern education and created new opportunities for improving the learning process. Technology provides learners with access to interactive educational resources, digital platforms, multimedia materials, online collaboration tools, and personalized learning environments. This article examines the role of technology in creating an interactive learning environment and analyzes its influence on student engagement, motivation, collaboration, communication, and academic achievement. The study is based on an analysis of relevant pedagogical and educational technology literature. The findings indicate that the effective integration of technology can make learning more student-centered, flexible, collaborative, and engaging. Interactive applications, learning management systems, virtual classrooms, educational videos, digital simulations, and online assessment tools allow students to participate actively in the learning process. However, technological integration also requires adequate teacher training, digital literacy, reliable infrastructure, and appropriate pedagogical strategies. The article concludes that technology should not replace teachers but should be used as an effective instrument to support interactive and meaningful learning.
