NRS-17461 | Alphabetical purchase card index to films [Department of Education]

The cards in this series comprise an alphabetical catalogue of films available for purchase by the Department of Education. While not all of the films described on these cards were obtained by the Department’s Film Library, the cards serve an important function as they include a description of the film to which they relate, and complement the index cards to the Department of Education’s 16mm films. In some cases the only information available regarding some of the Department’s films is contained on the purchase index cards. Each card provides: titles, catalogue number, date, running time, colour/black and white, description, and creating agency. Some of the cards also include: director and distributor, subject area, evaluator, synopsis, uses, audience, technical rating, comments, and rating.
