资源简介:
Elucidating the mechanism of the fiber conversion and CH4 mitigation underlying microbial metabolism is critical to improve protein-rich silage digestibility and preserve silage energy for ruminant nutrient absorption. However, few studies have combined the quantitative microbial function, via absolute quantification 16S rRNA sequencing (AQ-16S seq), and conversion products in silage to explain these mechanisms. Here, we build a workflow to detect the substrates and products of fiber conversion in Sesbania cannabina and sweet sorghum (SS) silage, and combined AQ-16S seq to reveal these mechanisms.
