Anonymized survey data supplementing the MuC 2026 paper "Designing Epistemic Friction to Foster Verification in Students' Use of Generative AI" (https://doi.org/10.18420/muc2026-mci-ws103-316). Responses from 1,681 students at 143 institutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, collected June 10 to July 22, 2026, on trust, verification behavior and cognitive delegation in generative-AI use, and on the reception of three friction-based interface mechanisms. Includes codebooks, the full questionnaire (German and English) and the three prototype screens.
