Tomographic reconstruction of a portion of medium spiny neuron from the neostriatum of a Sprague Dawley adult rat, in a 4 um thick section. This data set is poorly aligned due to a lack of adequate fiducial markers. This volume is an example of a poor reconstruction. This reconstructed image has been downsampled from the raw data image, which can be accessed using the link provided to the Cell Centered Database.
