Which Energy-Transition Policies Improve Energy Security? Evidence from Policy-Instrument Decomposition and Cross-Country Panel Models

The empirical dataset was constructed at the country-year level for the period 2000–2023. The dependent variable is the Energy Security Score, obtained from the World Energy Council’s World Energy Trilemma database. The main explanatory variables are taken from the OECD Climate Actions and Policies Measurement Framework, available through the OECD Data Explorer.
