Natural rangeland composition in Benin

This dataset contains data on the composition of natural rangelands (forbs and grasses) in Sinendé (in northeastern Benin: south-Borgou food zone); Tchaourou (in central: cotton zone of the center); and Kétou (in southern: zone of depression). Data were collected over four-month in each location for two transhumance zone (T: transhumance and NT: non transhumance) and three vegetation types (open forest/woodland savannah, Of/Ws; wooded savannah/shrubland savannah Ws/Ss; and crop fields mosaics, Cfm) were compared.
