Lamb Growth and Development Characteristics in Nomadic Sheep Breeding

This study was conducted to emphasize the potential for adapting to environmental factors for the sustainability of the livestock sector and to better understand the effects of migration on lamb growth and development performance. The results of the study indicate that in the nomadic breeding system, the growth and development of Karayaka lambs were not negatively affected. However, to prevent the potential negative effects during transition periods due to migration and altitude-related environmental changes, supplementary feeding can be provided.
