Minutes of meeting: IFLA Regional Council, 24 July 2022

Items discussed at the fifth Regional Council meeting include an intervention of IFLA President, updates from the Regional Council Chair (incl. updated from the Professional Council), updates on progress on WLIC sessions and meetings, updated from around the SDGs theme, including a report from HLPF Participation, a discussion around evaluating the first year of IFLA’s Regional Structures, which included evaluations by Regional Division Committees and discussion around the proposed processes for co-option, casual vacancies, removals and mentors. Subsequently, a strategic discussion took place around communications, which included a briefing around current activities.
