Level of Living among the Agricultural Population, 2002

"Level of Living among the Agricultural Population, 2002" is carried out on behalf of The Research Council of Norway. The survey is prepared in collaboration with Statistics Norway (SSB) and representantives from Centre for Rural Research and Stavanger University College. SSB conducted a similar survey in 1995. The survey's goal is twofold. On the one hand, it is a goal to study the living conditions among the agricultural population and examine how the development in agriculture has been over the last years. A lot of the same questions that were used in 1995 have therefore been used this time as well. On the other hand, it has also been a goal to use the results to compare the agricultural population's living conditions with the living conditions among the rest of the population in Norway. In order to make this possible, some of the questions have been gathered from the general level of living surveys.
