Replication data and code for 'Unpacking the socio-biodiversity economy'

This deposit contains the anonymised quantitative dataset and the analysis code underlying the article "Unpacking the socio-biodiversity economy: vulnerabilities in information exchange and value aggregation networks within two cocoa cocoa cooperatives in the Brazilian Amazon" (Carbone, 2026). SNA_Dataset_Final.xlsx holds 110 anonymised nodes and 417 reported ties across the four cooperative-by-dimension networks analysed in the study (information exchange and value aggregation in two fino cocoa cooperatives of the Transamazon, Brazilian Amazon). The Python scripts compute the network-level metrics (density, average degree, Newman global transitivity, and Freeman degree and betweenness centralisation) and the actor-level centralities (degree, betweenness, eigenvector) reported in the manuscript; the JSON files store their outputs, including the cross-validation against NetworkX 3.2.1 and the null-model, difference, and bootstrap analyses reported in the Supplementary Materials. The code requires Python 3.11+ with NumPy, pandas, and NetworkX 3.2.1; see the README for the folder structure and reproduction steps.
