Incidents of Post-9/11 U.S. National Security Policies' Impact on Scientific Research and Higher Education in Diverse Geographic Locations, March 2002 to June 2005.

Through this study, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) sought to collect and disseminate information about the impacts of post-9/11 security policies on scientific research and higher education. The study resulted in the development of a searchable database that includes 92 separate incidents in which scientists and engineers, from across the United States and internationally, were affected by the implementation of those policies. Data for this study were collected via the following methods: public literature and professional journal searches, the American Association for the Advancement of Science Web site, and announcements of the project.
