PMA Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa Kongo Central) Phase 2 Household and Female survey collects state-level representative data on knowledge, practice, and coverage of family planning services in 57 enumeration areas (EAs) in Kinshasa and 57 EAs in Kongo Central selected using a multi-stage stratified cluster design with urban-rural strata. The final sample included 1,866 (90.1%) households and 2,369 (93.0%) de facto females in Kinshasa and 1,891 (93.3%) households and 1,929 (98.3%) de facto females in Kongo Central who completed the interviews for the cross-sectional survey. The data was collected between November 2020 and February 2021.Phase 2 panel data collection was conducted among females aged 15-49 at the time of the Phase 2 survey who were interviewed at the baseline survey between December 2019 and February 2020 and consented to follow-up. In Kinshasa, of the 2549 eligible respondents, 17.8% were not reached for follow-up. Of those reached, 2006 (78.7%) completed the survey, for a response rate of 95.8% among contacted women. In Kongo Central, of the 1902 eligible respondents, 18.1% were not reached for follow-up. Of those reached, 1534 (80.7%) completed the survey, for a response rate of 98.5% among contacted women.
