Recording the Cultural Landscape of Dawson Catchment

This project will identify and record Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) from Elders and Traditional Owners located within the Dawson Catchment, a sub catchment of the Fitzroy Basin Region, to preserve and value their knowledge of cultural resources to ensure that inter-generational knowledge is recorded and passed on. The project will also provide a resource that can be used to improve the understanding of indigenous cultural heritage by non-indigenous people.
