Whole genome sequencing study of Acinetobacter isolates from raw meat in Singapore markets

In this study, 45 Acinetobacter isolates were got from raw meat in Singapore markets. All of these isolates were sent for whole genome sequencing and analyzed. Six of the isolates are Acinetobacter baumannii carrying intrinsic carbapenemase gene blaOXA and blaADC, however, MIC testing showed weak hydrolysis function of these carbapenemases and no carbapenem resistance was observed.
