Research on the Mechanism of Metformin Improving Type 2 Diabetes

In this study, we investigated the effects of metformin on the transcriptome data of whole blood samples and the metagenome data of the gut microbiota in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients. Our objective was to identify potential mechanisms by which metformin treats T2DM.
