This data includes the results of new union certification elections in the US from 1980-2020. The readme file includes information about the coverage and cleaning of both pre-existing data and new administrative data obtained via FOIA request. A separate file provides descriptive statistics on recent trends in unionization since 2010, the terminal date of the most commonly used data on union elections.
