Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Investment Committee Decisions

This data includes all projects reviewed by the TIF Investment Committee (TIC), from May 2019 through December 2024. TIC reviewed requests for the use Tax Increment Financing (TIF) funds – a special funding tool used by the City of Chicago to promote public and private investment across the city – for a variety of projects including public infrastructure projects from the City departments and Sister Agencies, as well as private-sector housing and economic development projects. TIC meetings were suspended in January 2025 and no further updates to this dataset are anticipated.
