As of February 2024, Siesta Key Health And Rehabilitation Center held the record of the heftiest total amount of fines against a nursing home or rehab center in the last three years. This senior community in Sarasota, Florida, received a total penalty of 1.41 million U.S. dollars. The second most fined nursing home/rehab facility was the City View Multicare Center. This facility based in Cicero, Illinois, had to pay a total fine of 1.12 million U.S. dollars.
