资源简介:
Paracoccus denitrificans is a Gram-negative, non-swimming bacterium that inhabits soil, water, sewage, and sludge and studies show that Paracoccus denitrificans can denitrify nitrogen sources under aerobic conditions. However, the lack of data on its genome sequence has restricted molecular studies and practical applications. Currently, there is only two submitted complete genome of P. denitrificans PD1222 and P. denitrificans ATCC 19367 in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) genome database, which restricts research on gene functions, molecular mechanisms of denitrification, and practical use of P. denitrificans. Nonetheless, we speculate that the mechanisms will gradually be uncovered using published genomes as references in the near future.
