These volumes detail corporal punishments given by the Principal to pupils at the Riley Street Public School. They record the pupil's name, age, nature of offence, amount of punishment (the type of punishment given for example missed play, note to parent or number of slaps), by whom sent (the teacher's name) , date of punishment, and by whom administered.
