NDFF Monitoring network urban bird species

This monitoring program focuses on all breeding bird species occurring in urban areas. These include exotic species living in the wild, such as the Psittacula krameri, Alopochen aegyptiaca, feral geese, feral ducks and feral pigeons. This program has the following aims: - track the development of the population of all breeding bird species in urban areas. - report on the occurrence of breeding birds in urban areas, as well as any changes to their occurrence. - determine the population density of breeding birds in urban areas. - outreach to new bird surveyors.
