This record describes the biological data collected on Rachel Cruise 07/1984. The data were obtained from the Gulf of Carpentaria between August and September 1984. The dataset consists of length, sex, species identity data for sharks, mainly Carcharhinus tilstoni, Carcharhinus sorrah, Scomberomorus commerson and Thunnus tonggol, from gillnet and longline samples. This dataset was collected as part of the CSIRO Northern Pelagic Fish Stock Research Project.
