Middle class and wealth redistribution: a numerical model for optimal taxation under a democratic regime (optimization results)

The proposed numerical model simulates the evolution of a virtual population with an incentive and ability-based wage, capital yield from savings, social welfare system and total income subject to taxation. The model allows to obtain an objective criterion to define the middle class based on the marginal percentile income. Meta-heuristics are used to find an optimal taxation given the constrains of a democracy with yardstick vote. This repository contains results of 30 parametric optimizations for one mandate and 30 for two mandates and complements the data in the paper.
本研究提出的数值模型可模拟虚拟种群的演化过程,该种群采用基于激励与能力的薪酬体系,包含储蓄资本收益、社会福利体系,且其总收入需缴纳税收。该模型可基于边际百分位收入,得到界定中产阶级的客观标准。在存在标尺投票(yardstick vote)的民主政体约束条件下,本研究采用元启发式算法(Meta-heuristics)求解最优税收方案。本配套数据集仓库包含单次任期下30次参数优化的结果,以及两次任期下30次参数优化的结果,可对论文中的数据进行补充。
