Minutes of Meeting: Document Delivery and Resource Sharing Section, 08 May 2025

The Document Delivery and Resource Sharing Committee met on the 8th of May 2025 and discussed the IFLA election results, and Tuba (Chair) announced her withdrawal from the DDRS Committee as moving to become the Chair of the F Division. Tuba proposed organizing a farewell event for the outgoing members and a welcome reception of the newcomers. The Progress of the WLIC2025 Open session was also discussed and all seems in control and Sara Arnold-Garza volunteered to moderate the DDRS session. The Bidding results for the ILDS 2026 showed, Rome, Almaty, and South Africa, and after a vote Rome was elected to be the host of the 19th ILDS 2026. The 6th webinar due in May 2025 by DELNET in India did not happen, as stakeholders were not responsive. The last point was the updates on the RSCVD activities where 302 libraries todate joined the network. The committee was working on publishing a paper by end of May. RSCVD will also be active in WLIC2025 with a poster, a demo session and talk.
