Whole genome sequencing of aureobasidin A adaptors derived from SC5314 during short time exposure to sub-MIC concentration of aureobasidin A

Candida albicans lab strain SC5314 was grown in YPD broth supplemented with sub-MIC concentration (5 ng/ml) of aureobasidin A (AbA) for 24h. The culture was then washed and diluted with distilled water. Approximately 200 cells were spread on YPD agar plate. Randomly 40 colonies were tested with spot assay for tolerance to AbA. 21 colonies were tolerant and were sequenced.
