Milldam and Riparian Sediment dataset - Dams and their legacies shape biogeochemical evolution of riparian sediments
收藏资源简介:
Data associated with 12 breached and existing milldams located in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Data include general milldam location (watershed and stream), sediment sample depths, groundwater depth, Soil Survey Geographic Database (SSURGO) soil classification, year of dam removal/breach, bulk density (BD), gravimetric water content (GWC), soil pH, electrical conductivity (EC), nitrate (NO3-), ammonium (NH4+), Mehlich-3 extractable iron (Fe[M3]), dithionite extractable iron (Fe[d]), oxalate extractable "amorphous" iron (Fe[o]), crystalline iron (Fe[c]), iron activity index (Fe[o] / Fe[d]), % organic matter (OM), total organic carbon % (TOC), total nitrogen % (TN), molar organic carbon to nitrogen ratio (TOC:N), nitrogen process rates (net ammonification, nitrification, and N mineralization potentials), wet stable aggregates (% macroaggregates, % microaggregates, % total aggregates), soil texture (% sand, % silt, and % clay), soil ripening index, and texture classification.
