AtT-20 Xenograft Mouse Hippocampus tissue

AtT-20 cells were seeded on adherent culture dishes and grown to approximately 80 percent confluence over 3 days in DMEM supplemented with 10 percent fetal bovine serum (FBS) and 1 percent penicillin-streptomycin solution. For the experimental groups, 6 x 10^6 AtT-20 cells were resuspended in 100 uL of phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) and injected subcutaneously under the scalp of 8-week-old female C57BL/6 mice. Control (WT) group mice received injections of 100 uL PBS without cells. After 8 weeks, the mice were euthanized, and the hippocampi from both hemispheres were collected for RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) analysis.
