Sample MRI Data for publication "CATNUS: Coordinate-Aware Thalamic Nuclei Segmentation Using Structural MRI"
收藏资源简介:
This dataset provides a sample subject MRI dataset accompanying the paper “CATNUS: Coordinate-Aware Thalamic Nuclei Segmentation Using Structural MRI”. The data are primarily intended for validation and demonstration of the CATNUS framework, but may also be reused for other methodological purposes. The dataset has been collected and shared in compliance with Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval at the University of Maryland. Data sharing adheres to applicable IRB regulations. The dataset consists of imaging data from a single male subject (approximately 50 years old) with mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). The released data include structural MRI acquired in the native space, specifically magnetization-prepared rapid gradient echo (MPRAGE) and fast gray matter acquisition T1 inversion recovery (FGATIR) images, the latter also referred to as white matter–nulled MPRAGE (WMn-MPRAGE). In addition, MNI-space derivatives are provided, including MPRAGE and FGATIR images registered to MNI space, as well as computed quantitative maps (T1 map and proton density map) and multi–inversion time (multi-TI) images. Both MPRAGE and FGATIR images are T1-weighted acquisitions obtained at 1 mm isotropic resolution, with a repetition time (TR) of 4000 ms, an echo time (TE) of 3.37 ms, and a flip angle of 6°. The two sequences differ only in inversion time (TI), which is 1400 ms for MPRAGE and 400 ms for FGATIR. All scans were acquired on a 3T Siemens Prisma scanner. The dataset includes the following data. Files named *MPRAGE.nii.gz and *FGATIR.nii.gz correspond to native-space MPRAGE and FGATIR images, respectively. Files named *MPRAGE-MNI.nii.gz and *FGATIR-MNI.nii.gz correspond to MNI-space MPRAGE and FGATIR images after spatial normalization, N4 bias field correction, and white matter–nulled intensity normalization. Files named *T1map-MNI.nii.gz and *PDmap-MNI.nii.gz correspond to quantitative T1 and proton density maps computed from the processed MPRAGE and FGATIR images in MNI space. Files named *multiTI_*-MNI.nii.gz correspond to synthesized multi–inversion time images in MNI space generated from the quantitative T1 and proton density maps, where the numerical suffix indicates the inversion time. Further details regarding data acquisition, preprocessing, and usage are provided in the CATNUS paper. Please cite the CATNUS paper when using this dataset.
