Cities are divided into geohash7 grids (approximately 150m × 170m in size). Based on the identification of users' residence, workplace and entertainment locations, this dataset counts the distribution and correlation of population in terms of residence, employment and entertainment. It provides data analysis support for clients in commercial, real estate, urban planning and other fields when they conduct research on urban population residence-employment distribution, commuting status and other related topics.

In terms of transportation planning: by analyzing the origin-destination (OD) data of resident and employed populations, transportation planners can formulate more effective transportation infrastructure and travel strategy plans based on commuting flow.
