We studied the effect of antibiotics [Ampicillin (1g/L), Neomycin (1g/L) and Vancomycin (1g/L) dissolved in autoclaved drinking water] on the fecal microbiota of opticospinal encephalomyelitis mice (double-transgenic C57BL/6 mice). Fecal microbiota were profiled from control mice (n=6) and antibiotic-treated mice (n=6) using 16S rRNA gene sequencing targeting V3-V4 hyper-variable regions.
