资源简介:
Pseudomonas is a diverse genus with a growing number of new species that exhibit a variety of functions, including antibacterial and insecticidal activity, as well as promoting plant growth, making them well suited as biological control agents for a number of pathogens. There is a strain of P13 in our laboratory that has antagonistic ability to many pathogenic fungi. The abundance of soil microrganism bacteria and fungi indicated that P13 could inhibit the abundance of pathogenic fungus Fusarium graminis without damaging the soil bacterial structure, thus reducing the incidence of plant diseases. Phylogenetic, genomic, physiological and biochemical characteristics supported that strain p13 was a representative of a new pseudomonas species, which was closely related to P.corrugata RM-1-1-4, P. lini DSM16768 and P. migulae LMG21608. Comparative genomic analysis showed that p13 possessed most of the central metabolic genes associated with the three closely related strains, as well as a set of genes encoding the type IV pili system, indicating its multifunctional metabolic and motor characteristics. The comparison of secondary metabolites revealed that NRPS involved in acetoornithine aminotransferase (ectB,dat) may be the main active compound in the antagonism of P13 against Fusarium graminis. As far as we know, this is a novel pseudomonas that shows strong antibacterial activity against Fusarium graminae. This result suggests that strain P13 may be a promising biological control agent.
