This is the result of a survey of online curricula or training programs for research data management or curation, conducted by Amy Nurnberger in July 2013. The programs were examined for specific modules, topics, and learning objectives, each of which were documented. The topics and learning objectives were then coded using a controlled vocabulary intended to summarize their overall intent. Following coding, brief analysis was done to examine frequency of topics, where topics were located within specific learning modules, and which learning modules were most frequently associated with which topics. Finally, a synthesis of this information was developed to present a generalized consensus of which topics were most often associated with which stages of the research data management/curation pathway.
