GLOBE Eclipse Data - April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse

This dataset was used in an article published in the Bulletin of the American Astronomical Society: GLOBE Eclipse 2024: A Case Study of the Effects of the April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse on Cirrus Clouds and Contrails in the United States of America. The dataset contains cloud cover observations before, during, and after the total solar eclipse of April 2024, including pictures, submitted by citizen scientists both within and outside the path of totality. 0=FALSE (i.e., the condition is false), and 1=TRUE (the condition is true). Empty cells indicate the information was not entered or not entered in a format the computer recognized. More information on the data and data units is available within the GLOBE Data User Guide.
