Effect of seasonal and species variation for potential of aged cattle manure on methane production

this project is to assess the potential for valorization of real aged cattle manure (ACM) and production of biogas via anaerobic digestion (AD) process. Totally, twenty ACMs from five different cowshed for each four seasons were examined as a substrate of AD. Before the digestion, diverse physicochemical and biological characteristics of each ACM were analyzed. In addition, the influence of storage condition on the properties of ACM was explored for more practical application. Therefore, this project can be helpful for understanding and developing AD technology of ACM.
