Downtown Planned Action Area

The purpose of this feature class is to provide more detailed environmental analysis during formulation of planning proposals rather than at the project permit review stage. The planned action ordinance brings the environmental analysis and mitigation measures within the EIS together with the City’s plans and development regulations, providing the basis for expedited review of development proposals. The Downtown Planned Action will bring these measures to the City, as adopted by the City Council who has the final authority to implement the planned action process for Puyallup. This data is best used in conjunction with Puyallup Zoning.
