Share of London office space under construction: new build vs refurbishment Q1 2020

This statistic shows the share of London office real estate constructions that are new builds vs those that are refurbishments in the first quarter 2020, by area. During this time period King's Cross saw one hundred percent of office real estate under construction that were new builds. The City, in contrast, had 25 percent of office constructions that were new builds in same time period. Central London saw 30 percent new builds and 70 percent refurbishments.
