FAIR Assessment Scores for Repository-Shared Research Data in Mega-Journal Articles, 2020-2024

This dataset contains FAIR assessment scores for repository-shared research data identified from Data Availability Statements (DAS) in PubMed Central (PMC) articles published in PLOS ONE, Scientific Reports, and BMJ Open from 2020 to 2024. The dataset includes harmonized FAIR score outputs for records collected from Dryad, Figshare, GitHub, OSF, and Zenodo. Each row represents one representative repository record linked to a PMC article and repository. When multiple records were linked to the same article-repository pair, the record with the highest FAIR_score was retained. The scoring structure follows a FAIR/F-UJI-style framework covering Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability. The dataset includes article and repository identifiers, repository landing pages, dimension-level FAIR scores, overall FAIR scores, and individual metric-level scores.
