A price survey of 1,000mL lactobacillus beverage (excluding delivery) across all supermarkets in the country revealed an average price of 657 yen in December 2016. Over the period from January 2015 to December 2016 (the past 24 months), the month with the highest price for lactobacillus beverage (excluding delivery) in the national supermarkets was January 2015 at 673 yen, while the month with the lowest price was August 2016 at 642 yen. The price difference between the peak price period (January 2015) and the lowest price period (August 2016) for lactobacillus beverage (excluding delivery) across the national area was 30.5308 yen.
