资源简介:
Antenna is the main tissue of chemosensory signal transduction in mosquitoes. Extensive transcriptional changes occur in mosquitoes after blood meals, especially related to chemoreception, are expected to understand mosquito antenna physiology and to identify novel targets for mosquito control. We conducted a transcriptome analysis for the antennae of Anopheles sinensis which were kept on sugar diet (S) and five hours after blood feeding (B).This study provides the first global view of the changes in transcript accumulation elicited by a blood meal in An. sinensis female antennae. This information presented here may help to improve our understanding of the biochemical and physiological events that occur immediately after a blood meal, and serve as a basis for novel vector control strategies.
