Junction Deposit Carbonate Study EBSD

Electron back scatter diffraction data of carbonates from the Junction gold deposit near Kambalda in the Yilgarn Craton, Western Australia. Maps show relationships between phases as calcite is replaced by dolomite and siderite. Collection contains .ctf (Channel Text Files) which are ASCII files with phase and orientation data as euler angles. Note that dolomite is indexed using the calcite match unit due to problems with systematic misindexing of dolomite.\n\nTwo files are included for each map with suffixes 'Raw' and 'Processed' to indicate the as collected and final published data respectively. \nLineage: Raw data are exported from Bruker Esprit 9.4 software that was originally used to acquire the datasets. Original Bruker datasets included energy dispersive x-ray spectra for each point and these were used to distinguish calcite and siderite. \n\nThe data was collected from sample 250 as described in Polito et al.
