Treatment effects indicate standardized effect sizes, with associated confidence intervals in squared brackets. P-values (P) indicate overall significant effect of treatments on species richness. If most parsimonious model included an interaction between treatment and region, we also show regional specific effect sizes. For more detailed information on statistical results see S1 Table.
