Experimental and Numerical Analysis of Out-of-Plane Behaviour of Dry-Joint Stone Historical Walls
收藏资源简介:
This dataset provides a comparative visual analysis of the out-of-plane overturning behavior of an Inca dry-stone masonry, featuring video recordings of both experimental tilt-table tests and their corresponding numerical simulations. The physical experiments were conducted using a scale model of concrete blocks to replicate mortarless stone units, while the numerical analysis employs rigid-body dynamics and contact law formulations to capture the complex kinematics of the assembly. This dataset contains videos of three experimental tests on concrete block walls (Wall A-1, B-1, and B-2). Each video captures the front, side, or 3D view—as well as occasional top view—generally depicting the collapse. Additionally, videos of numerical models for these structures, created in Abaqus(c) , are included. Collectively, these files serve as the primary validation data for the methodology and findings presented in the research article, "Experimental and Numerical Analysis of Out-of-Plane Behaviour of Dry-Joint Stone Historical Walls."
