Annotated Infrared Camera Trap Images from the Desert-Steppe of Northern Qilian Mountains (2020–2022)

This dataset contains annotated infrared camera trap images collected between December 2020 and January 2022 in the desert-steppe ecosystem of Sunan Yugur Autonomous County, Gansu Province, China. It includes valid species images, independent detection events, and associated metadata (e.g., timestamps, camera locations, species names) from 22 infrared camera traps. The dataset supports research in behavioral ecology, species distribution modeling, machine learning, and public engagement.
