Base chromosome number, somatic chromosome number and ploidy type for tree species at the Atlantic Forest, Caatinga and Cerrado biomes

This database contains information on base chromosome numbers for 378 genera and somatic chromosome numbers for 964 tree species of the Atlantic Forest, Caatinga, and Cerrado biomes. The database has been built over the years by several students mentored by Professor Fernando Roberto Martins at the University of Campinas. All data in the floristic database are from Brazilian and international books, theses, and published papers. All references used are mentioned in the database. The data is divided into Table S1, Table S2, and Table S3.
