资源简介:
Vanadium dioxide (VO₂) is a phase-change material exhibiting a semiconductor-to-metal transition near 68 °C, making it highly attractive for smart glazing. Embedding VO₂ nanoparticles (NPs) in a dielectric matrix enhances solar modulation through localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) and improved optical switching. In this project, we investigate VO₂ NPs synthesized via hydrothermal methods and separated by centrifugal sedimentation into distinct size fractions. SAXS will provide high-resolution, ensemble-averaged insight into size distribution and interparticle spacing, which are critical to understanding and optimizing LSPR behavior. The goal is to correlate nanostructure with thermochromic performance for efficient energy-saving applications.
